School of Ministry Experience

The Multiply With Us School of Ministry is a eleven-month training program designed to mobilize men and women into full-time ministry service. Students who are accepted into the program experience coursework that is co-delivered by Multiply With Us team members as well as the students’ sponsoring church or ministry. Academic and lab-based study will be delivered on a weekly basis running from August to June, while the sponsoring church or ministry will handle the practical internship and mentorship components.

Students may choose to commute to our host campus, Lifeline Church in Denton, TX, or if necessary, they may move to Denton select and Lifeline as their sponsoring church for the duration of the program. Incorporated into the curriculum is a series of correspondence coursework that, when successfully completed, grants a candidate the eligibility to apply for minister’s credentials with the Assemblies of God.

The call into ministry is exciting and rich. Pursuing it is one of the most significant decisions we can make. It’s a service that involves caring, loving, and leading others in every aspect of human life.

In order to be prepared and equipped for such a call, it's essential that candidates take the opportunity to mature into the role that God has called them to. This involves a holistic training experience, including academic, practical, and personal development, all working together to build up the whole person so that whatever God calls them to, they are men and women of character, ready to say "yes."

My desire in facilitating this program is to help mobilize men and women to become great leaders in Christian community, either by serving where they are or by exploring what it looks like to begin fresh ministry at a place in need. In both cases, Multiply With Us is designed to be the propellant that sets the foundation for what God will do in and through our students. This is my heart. Academics

Students in the Multiply With Us School of Ministry will receive instruction in the following concentrations:

  • Philosophical, Biblical, and Systematic Theology

  • Teaching and Small Group Leading Lab

  • Preaching Lab

  • Topics of Ministry Contention

Candidates

The best candidates for Multiply With Us School of Ministry include:

  • Those who would first describe themselves as available, faithful, and teachable to God and his Kingdom

  • Those who have sensed the invitation of Jesus to step into a ministry leadership context.

  • Those who have already demonstrated ministry commitment and discipleship in their home church, having completed all the discipleship courses provided (ex. Tracks 1, 2, 3, 4).

  • Those who have spoken with their lead pastor and have received an endorsement to apply.

  • Those who are willing to embrace the time commitments to attend class and complete assignments every week.

  • Those who are financially and relationally stable enough to fulfill the expectations of curriculum, including weekly classes, monthly gatherings, and other ministry components required by Multiply and the sending church.

Program and Tuition

Program

  • Multiply With Us School of Ministry is delivered in one eleven-month term, beginning at the start of August and ending in June each year.

  • Classes are hosted once per week in one 4.5 hour block, plus one Sunday afternoon per month. Students should expect to be available for each week’s class block to earn full completion of the program.

  • The coursework is delivered with qualitative evaluation which allows for more personalized instruction to each individual participant.

  • We work in partnership with Global University, featuring credential specific coursework for candidates pursuing Assemblies of God ministry opportunities.

Tuition

  • Tuition:

    • $2900 for Credentialing Track (students who choose to complete minister’s credential coursework)

    • $2050 for Lay-Ministry Track (students who opt out of taking minister’s credential courses)

  • Tuition includes all course materials (books, enrollment, and credential course fees).

  • Installment Schedule:

    • 50% payment ($1450/$1025) is due by July 20th

    • 75% payment ($2175/$1540) is due by December 1st.

    • 100% payment ($2900/$2050) is due by April 1st.

  • Discounts and work-study

    • A $200 discount is provided to students who pay in full by July 20th.

    • Students who are sponsored by Lifeline may request a work-study scholarship in exchange for work projects at the church. (Up to $250)
